Former Democrat gubernatorial nominee Andrew Gillum was in Jupiter Sunday, rallying fellow members of his party by calling for voter registration.
At Abacoa Golf Club, the former Mayor of Tallahassee talked about what is not a winning strategy for Democrats nationally next year.
"I do not believe that a strategy that simply says that Trump is bad and we've gotta defeat Trump is a winning enough message."
Outside the club were several Trump supporters, waving flags and holding signs.
"We're just a small handful of Americans that are saying no way, but there is an army of us out there."
Palm Beach County Republican Party Chair Michael Barnett was also there, he said to send a message to Gillum that there are patriots here who support the president and are totally against what he called "this impeachment nonsense."
