The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office and police in Demopolis, Alabama have confirmed that human remains found during their search for five year old Taylor Williams are indeed those of the little girl.
Jacksonville detectives and a search and rescue team have been working in Alabama for about a day.
Jacksonville Sheriff Mike Williams says the child's mother, Brianna Williams, had stopped talking to detectives lately and was rushed to the hospital possibly suffering from an overdose. She's been arrested and faces child neglect charges.
