Pembroke Pines Cop Placed On Leave For Deadly Shooting Last Week in Miramar

A Pembroke Pines police officer is on administrative leave for last week's bloody cross-county showdown that ended in Miramar. Four people died including two jewelry store robbers firing randomly at civilians and police, a hostage-taken UPS driver, and an innocent bystander.

The Pembroke Pines Police Department is not talking- deferring all inquiries to the Florida Department of Law Enforcement, which is investigating the police-involved shooting, and the FBI.
