School Board Votes On Teacher Who Threatened To Kill Someone

The Palm Beach County School Board will vote Wednesday on whether to fire a teacher who threatened to kill someone in front of students.

A parent complained about Physical Education teacher Raymond Berger's behavior back in April at Eagles Landing Middle in Boca Raton.

According to the school district, the 56-year old is accused of saying he was "going to (expletive) kill someone right now" and vowed to "rip" someone's "eyes out."

Another teacher told district officials that he had heard Berger make the comments as well.

An investigation found that the teacher engaged in unprofessional conduct, ethical misconduct and subordination, and Superintendent Donald Fennoy has recommended that he be fired.
