DeSantis Signs Voter Integrity Bill In West Palm Beach

Governor DeSantis was in West Palm Beach on Thursday morning, signing SB-90 into law.

"I have what we think is (one of) the strongest election integrity measures in the country."

The signing happened live on Fox & Friends, as local media was kept out of the Fox News exclusive event, which was held at the Palm Beach Airport Hilton. That's the same place where the governor spoke in February about how important the bill was.

The law puts limits on drop boxes and require voters to sign up for vote-by-mail for each election, among other measures.

"We're making sure we're enforcing Voter I.D. Look, you have to show a picture I.D. to do all these other things in society, clearly voting. We're also banning ballot harvesting. We're not going to let political operatives go and get satchels of votes and then dump them in some drop box."

The goverrnor was surrounded by state lawmakers and his lieutenant governor.

The event was hosted by pro-Trump group "Club 45 Palm Beach," which planned a rally for "the best governor in the U.S.A." afterward.
