Coast Guard Updates Response to Dorian

The U.S. Coast Guard is hard at work in the Bahamas, helping survivors get to safety.

Coast Guard helicopter crews are flying into damaged neighborhoods, finding the wounded, and flying them back to a staging area for transportation to local hospitals.

Customs and Border Protection crews based in Homestead are making similar flights.

The prime minister says more international assistance is on the way and major U.S. cruise lines have pledged financial support and relief missions to help deliver supplies to the islands.
