NASA To Go Ahead Today with Astronauts Florida Splashdown Despite Isaias

(Pensacola, FL) -- NASA says the weather forecast looks good and the two astronauts aboard the SpaceX Crew Dragon are headed back to Earth.

Bob Behnken and Doug Hurley made history as the first SpaceX astronauts when they blasted off to the International Space Station last May.

Now the crew has undocked from the ISS and is headed back to Earth. The return process is being livestreamed on NASA TV.

Splashdown of the Crew Dragon will take place this afternoon in the Gulf of Mexico near Pensacola, Florida and it will be the first splashdown for astronauts in 45 years.
