One Florida Sheriff made it clear that he won't be waiting for another school shooting to take place on his watch.
Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd called an emergency meeting with police chiefs across the county after Friday's shooting, resolving to make sure every school has an armed officer.
Judd said that by Aug. 13 of next year, every public school campus in the state will have well-trained, armed security from a "Guardian" or School Resource Officer.
"You've got to quit talking and start acting," he said.
Will armed guards at schools give a false sense of protection? Do you think the answer to stopping these shootings is by increasing the amount of armed personnel at the school?
