The Supreme Court's conservative majority ruled Tuesday that state programs offering scholarships to private school students can not exclude students from religious schools

The court didn't, however, require states to fund religious education, according to USA Today.

Chief Justice Jon Roberts said "A state need not subsidize private education. But once a state decides to do so, it can not disqualify some private schools solely because they're religious."
